COME TO BRYANT PARK TO VISIT MY FIRST BOOTH DESIGN!

It’s been a tough week working to make Brazilian Decor Booth come to life at The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park 2010 - NYC! We worked up to 15 hours per day this last days, from morning to night, getting soaked in the rain at times.… It was a lot work, but it was worth the experience! We started working on this project a month ago; and we ended yesterday on the same day of the opening! People were coming in, shopping and we were still accessorizing the space. Well, there were a lot other vendors still putting their spaces together too. It was not just us! … Sorry folks, I am so tired right now… that I am not even been able to write the details of the story! However, I would love to invite you to come and see my first booth design, and of course, shop at my friend’s Brazilian Decor Booth. The products are so beautiful, exotic and fashionable!

The images below describe the story of how it was designing Brazilian Decor Booth this past month…

RG Art & Design and Brazilian Decor love IKEA!

Back and forth to Ikea for this project!!! We visit the 3 IKEAS
around us.  We went to NJ, LI and Brooklyn!  Record of shopping at IKEA!

This is the place that Brazilian Decor Booth was supposed to be up and
ready by Sunday, but it wasn't yet!!!  The building process of the main structure was so late...!

This past Tuesday...  They were still putting the partitions together...!  It was supposed to be done theday before!  My contractors were standing there waiting for the event contractors to
be done with their work.

There it goes!  First coat of paint!  Isn't this chocolate and caramel color "yummy"?! Well, the colors look a little different here in computer, then it is in reality...  Their are more 'delicious' in realtiy!

Our 'exotic faux wood' floor is almost done here!

Late...  Daniella and I having pizza for dinner!

Lighting installation.

Photo boards installation.

Logo installation.

It's getting there...!

NEXT DAY...  Oops!  Raining all day!

When we thought we were going to have a clean space... the boxes of merchandise started arriving!  Boxes and boxes all over the place!  It was so wet outside and we did not have any other place to put the boxes except inside the booth, which it was still in the
process of being finished!
Ah, forget to mention about the leaking all over!!!

Boxes above our heads!!! And work too!

Finally... Yesterday (November 05 - Friday) about 8pm things seemed to be in place!

Brazilian Decor's wonderful fashion products!

Typical natural material from Brazil - capim dourado - Gold grass transformed into beautiful bracelets.

Winter hand bags exclusively for Brazilian Decor from different Brazilian designers.

Besides shopping and shopping you can enjoy FREE ice skating!!!

_ HAPPY END _

Thanks so much for stopping by Nero today ;)
Your booth looks amazing -- such a lot of work under pressure! And the goods look so chic too.
    Ah, nothing like the Brazilians...
